Role Overview
Cross-Chain Tracing Specialists track fund flows across multi-chain bridges, decentralized exchanges, and centralized off-ramps. The role is critical to investigations of bridge exploits and large-scale drain events that move funds across chains within minutes.
Key Responsibilities
- Trace fund flows across LayerZero, Wormhole, Allbridge, Mayan, and comparable bridges
- Document cross-chain mixing and laundering patterns
- Coordinate with the Bureau's Bridge Exploit Response Coordinators
- Maintain liaison relationships with CEX compliance teams
- Author forensic reports admissible in civil and DAO proceedings
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years on-chain forensics or blockchain investigation
- Working knowledge of at least 4 major cross-chain bridge protocols
- Familiarity with cross-chain DEX aggregators
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct response experience on a high-value bridge exploit
- CEX compliance or KYT (know-your-transaction) background
Compensation
480–640 SOL / year
Paid monthly in SOL to a verified wallet of the agent's choosing. Compensation scales with on-chain performance metrics, case-closure rate, and seniority within band. Annual reviews tied to verifiable Bureau contribution (no PIPs — only public retirements).
