Role Overview
The Junior Field Agent position is the Bureau's entry-level role for promising degens who have demonstrated commitment to on-chain investigation but lack formal experience. This is a 24-month rotation that exposes new agents to all major Bureau divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Rotate across Memecoin Forensics, KOL Forensics, and CIRG over 24 months
- Assist senior investigators on active cases
- Author preliminary intelligence briefs (with senior review)
- Maintain field journals documenting trench-level intelligence
- Pass quarterly competency assessments to advance
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable engagement with on-chain investigation (Twitter threads, Discord postings, Substack)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Tolerance for sleep deprivation, mass extraction events, and the occasional emotional dump
- Verifiable wallet history showing real trench-level experience (P&L not relevant; activity is)
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-taught technical skills (Solidity, Rust, Python, SQL)
- Existing track record of public on-chain observation
- Bag history that has built character
Compensation
240–340 SOL / year
Paid monthly in SOL to a verified wallet of the agent's choosing. Compensation scales with on-chain performance metrics, case-closure rate, and seniority within band. Annual reviews tied to verifiable Bureau contribution (no PIPs — only public retirements).
