Role Overview
The Bureau is seeking a Senior Rug Pull Investigator to lead complex multi-chain investigations into coordinated token failures, liquidity removal events, and exit-scam patterns. Successful candidates will combine on-chain forensic skills, deployer-cluster pattern recognition, and the journalistic instinct to read CT narratives before they hit mainstream news cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end investigations into rug pulls valued at $1M+ in retail losses
- Map deployer-wallet clusters across Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Base
- Coordinate with the Memecoin Forensics Division on cross-platform schemes
- Author classified Field Reports for active investigations
- Testify in DAO governance proceedings and class-action discovery as needed
- Maintain confidential informant network across CT and Telegram alpha groups
- Train Junior Field Agents on liquidity-removal detection methodology
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years on-chain investigation, forensic accounting, or crypto journalism
- Demonstrated track record identifying at least 10 verified rug pulls before mainstream coverage
- Expert-level proficiency with Bubblemaps, Arkham Intelligence, Solscan, Etherscan
- Working knowledge of Solana, EVM, and Anchor program patterns
- Native fluency in CT, including but not limited to: ngmi, wagmi, sers, fren-lexicon, bagholder semantics
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a victim of a rug pull (provides empathic insight)
- Conviction or settlement record in adjacent jurisdictions
- Published research with ZachXBT or comparable independent investigators
Compensation
380–620 SOL / year
Paid monthly in SOL to a verified wallet of the agent's choosing. Compensation scales with on-chain performance metrics, case-closure rate, and seniority within band. Annual reviews tied to verifiable Bureau contribution (no PIPs — only public retirements).
