Role Overview
Senior Smart Contract Auditors lead the Bureau's technical reviews of high-value protocols, newly launched tokens, and emergency exploit responses. This is the Bureau's most senior technical role outside CIRG engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits of Solana programs (Anchor framework) and EVM contracts
- Author audit reports admissible in DAO governance proceedings
- Mentor mid-level Honeypot Detection Analysts
- Respond to active exploits with rapid post-mortem analysis
- Maintain the Bureau's internal known-vulnerability database
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years smart contract auditing across multiple chains
- Production audit record at firms such as Trail of Bits, OpenZeppelin, Halborn, or comparable
- Expert proficiency in Solidity, Vyper, and/or Rust (Anchor)
- Public audit reports with attributable findings
Preferred Qualifications
- Published research on novel attack vectors
- Speaker history at DefCon, Devcon, ETHGlobal, or comparable
Compensation
580–900 SOL / year
Paid monthly in SOL to a verified wallet of the agent's choosing. Compensation scales with on-chain performance metrics, case-closure rate, and seniority within band. Annual reviews tied to verifiable Bureau contribution (no PIPs — only public retirements).
