Role Overview
Special Agents serve as the Bureau's front-line investigators in active Solana memecoin cases. The role combines field investigation, informant management, evidence collection, and rapid-response coordination during high-velocity exploit events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into Solana-native rug pulls, exit scams, and exploit events
- Manage informant relationships within DEX and launchpad operator circles
- Collect and preserve on-chain evidence for active cases
- Coordinate with the Memecoin Forensics Division and Bridge Exploit Response Coordinators
- Author Field Reports and contribute to the public Most Wanted listings
- Maintain situational awareness across Pump.fun, Bonk.fun, BelieveApp, and other active launchpads
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years operational experience in DeFi, on-chain analysis, or crypto journalism
- Demonstrable familiarity with Solana program architecture
- Ability to operate independently under stressful market conditions
- Pattern recognition for coordinated launch-and-dump cycles
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior closures of investigations resulting in public accountability
- Native Solana toolchain familiarity (Solscan, Birdeye, Helius, DexScreener)
Compensation
420–640 SOL / year
Paid monthly in SOL to a verified wallet of the agent's choosing. Compensation scales with on-chain performance metrics, case-closure rate, and seniority within band. Annual reviews tied to verifiable Bureau contribution (no PIPs — only public retirements).
