Duval has built a public profile as a self-described investor educator and "retail-first" memecoin commentator. He launched the $RETAIL token on Solana in February 2025, marketed as an empowerment vehicle for retail investors with 100% developer supply locked at launch. The token gained over 8,000 holders within its first day of trading.
Duval is a recurring member of the "LA Vape Cabal" / "Hookah Gang" adjacent Crypto Twitter circle that includes ThreadGuy, Cupsey, Rasmr, Frank Degod, and others. The circle has been associated with coordinated memecoin promotion, livestream content marketing, and recurring podcast cross-promotion of memecoin projects. The MBI categorizes this activity as "coordinated shilling" pending further investigation.
No formal regulatory charges against Duval have been publicly documented at the time of profiling. The Bureau notes that the broader memecoin KOL economy — in which Duval is a participant — has been the subject of multiple class actions, SEC scrutiny of Pump.fun-platform-associated tokens, and a leaked ZachXBT spreadsheet exposing over 200 influencers as taking undisclosed paid promotions. Duval has not been individually named in these specific actions to the Bureau's knowledge.
