Axiom is one of Solana's most-used wallet-tracking and on-chain analytics platforms, with paid-tier customers including major KOLs, market makers, and trading firms. As part of providing wallet-tracking services, Axiom employees with administrative privileges have visibility into customer wallet activity that is otherwise private.

According to ZachXBT's investigation, the named employee (identified in the report by handle only) accessed wallet data for several high-profile Axiom subscribers and used the information to time the employee's own trades immediately ahead of the subscribers' buys and sells. Over a documented period of approximately four months, the employee allegedly extracted approximately $1.4 million in front-running profits.

ZachXBT's methodology relied on cross-referencing wallets known to be associated with the employee against trade-timing patterns relative to specific subscriber wallets. The on-chain evidence is, in the Bureau's assessment, conclusive.

Axiom confirmed the findings within 24 hours of ZachXBT's publication, issued a public statement acknowledging the misconduct, revoked the employee's internal-tool access, and stated that the employee is no longer with the company. Axiom has not publicly clarified whether the employee's extracted profits will be subject to clawback or whether the affected subscribers will be made whole.

The Bureau's preliminary assessment is that the Axiom incident is unlikely to be isolated. Any platform offering wallet-tracking services has a structural incentive problem: employees with administrative access have potential personal trading exposure to the data they administer. The Bureau will continue to monitor industry response.
