Orangie transitioned from a Fortnite competitive and Friday Night Funkin' content background into Solana memecoin trading and KOL streaming. He operates a paid Whop community ("Potion Alpha") offering memecoin trading guidance. In a self-disclosed interview, he stated peak monthly earnings of approximately $500,000–$1,000,000 from memecoin activity.
On March 30, 2026 ("Memescope Monday"), Orangie publicly encouraged students to skip school and trade memecoins on Pump.fun, before deleting the video. The event saw Pump.fun token creation jump 83% in 24 hours. According to Crypto Twitter trader Scharo, when Orangie began his memescope stream and "got rinsed," trading volume began to die. Orangie himself stated he lost over $3,000 during the session before quitting his stream to play games on his PC. Critics described the event as a "mass extraction event."
Orangie has been publicly listed in AI-summarized rosters of crypto KOLs cited by community investigators for alleged "insider trading" and "scam projects" — allegations he has not been formally charged with. In August 2025, a YouTuber operating under the handle "Handsome" published an investigation alleging that Orangie maintained an undisclosed secret wallet.
