Scooter, who operated under the @ScooterXBT and @imperooterxbt handles, was among the more visible KOL-aligned traders in the Solana memecoin community throughout 2024 and 2025. His content combined live-stream commentary, on-chain attribution work directed at suspected rug operators, and a public-facing persona that frequently antagonized other CT figures.
The suspension comes after a multi-week period of escalating conflict. In late March 2026, Scooter published a series of posts naming what he described as "the top 10 Solana bundler operators currently active." The thread, which received over 4 million views, named individuals and wallet addresses associated with alleged coordinated buying and distribution operations.
Within 72 hours, multiple legal threats had reportedly been filed with X's Trust and Safety team. Scooter's account was placed under a series of escalating restrictions before being permanently suspended on April 7.
Separately, community sources have alleged that the suspension may also have been triggered by direct-message conduct unrelated to the public bundler callout thread. X has not confirmed or denied this. The Bureau notes that platform-suspension reasoning is rarely made public, and that multiple parallel factors may be relevant.
Scooter is the subject of an open Bureau profile (case #MBI-2025-014). The Bureau has been unable to verify specific allegations against him at time of profiling, and his profile remains provisional pending further documentation.
CT response to the suspension has split along predictable lines. Bundler-operator-adjacent accounts have celebrated; on-chain attribution accounts have condemned. The Bureau notes that suspended X accounts have a tendency to return under new handles, and will continue to monitor.
